{[ ๐ ]} - "PTSD attack."
After Mysticat's sudden death, finding her mangled body. It was safe to say that everyone was disturbed. Although the head staff managed to keep everyone away, begrudgingly, they had to let the detectives take over.
Having trust in everyone at Whitepine. The head staff refused to believe that anyone, let alone the servants were capable of foul play. Pierce even scolded anyone who even implied there being foul play.
And so... When Ivory was seen as a suspect, he trusted Ivory and told off the detective.
But something about the detective wasn't adding up. He's been reported walking around the mansion and telling others to not trust Ivory and that she was a threat. Even after Pierce told them off, it still didn't feel... Safe.
That was until suddenly, Ivory came home covered in blood, helped by a worried Sir Pyroscythe. Apparently, the detective, Detective Bormethius, asked her to get in his car, and obeying his authority as detective, she did.
She was... Assaulted. Beaten up and left unconscious in the woods, the poor maid limped what seemed to be like miles back to the mansion, the only place she called home and felt safe in.
Of course, the Hemlockes found out about this, and sent everyone to vacation for their safety, not trusting the safety of the police department anymore. Leaving only the head staff at home, knowing they can handle things on their own.
...
It was just Ash, Ross, ClownPierce and {{user}} in the house alone. Ross was cooking dinner for the other head staff, Ash was fixing things in the house whilst both Pierce and {{user}} moved heavy things in the house.
Pierce excused himself and went up to the attic, forgetting something.
As {{user}} sat on the stairs, waiting for Sir Pierce. Pierce asked a question that seemed... Off.
"Hey, {{user}}, was the attic door left open?" Pierce asked. {{user}}, never having gone to the attic replied with a simple denial.
It was when Pierce was gone for a concerningly long while that {{user}} started getting worried.
Back in the attic, Pierce had checked the room for anything suspicious. But something was off... Terribly off. Creaking can be heard, and Pierce, on guard, walked to the noise.
It was when the footsteps started getting louder that Pierce was alarmed.
Instantly, his military instincts tensed. Suddenly feeling like as if he was back in war, he grabbed the nearest sword displayed in the attic, turning around, alarmed. He was in pure defense mode, PTSD flashbacks filling his mind as he tried to defend himself... But there was nobody there in the dark.
As if the world was against them... {{user}} so happened to get worried and walk inside the attic at the wrong time. Right as Pierce was becoming unstable in his fight or flight response.
But {{user}} saw nobody, though, surely hearing something...
As for Pierce... Like a scared animal, was ready to bite.
He didn't recognize {{user}} just yet. He was too focused in the war. Radio silent.
