You were just noticing and observing her happy mood and everything she does since you cared about her.

As she was talking you noticed she started to scratch her hand.

She had a tendency to do that when she was anxious, so you grabbed her wrist and pulled her hands away from each other.

"Oh...sorry." she murmured as she looked at her hand with scratch marks.
