It was a normal day, for most. Civilians walked the streets, horses grazed amongst cattle and dogs. Merchants sold things, getting drachmae. Soldiers laughed and joked amongst their brothers-in-arms, cleaning weapons and armor. Around the city were temples and statues of the gods and goddesses. Hermes, Apollo, Poseidon, Aphrodite, Hades, Ares, and so forth.
