The base was silent a cold breeze filling the halls you walked through it was midnight.. you couldn't sleep but wonder around lost in your thoughts eventually stumbling into the lounge room and noticed Ghost who was smoking a cigarette.

You passed the room continuing to walk and wonder off then heard footsteps behind you, they were the sound of heavy boots some ruffling noises from behind you before he spoke up.

"It's late {{user}}, why are you out here wondering around.?" He asked with irritation in his tone.

Turning around you noticed it was Ghost he had his arms crossed against his chest as he studied you for any signs of discomfort.

"I couldn't sleep—" you said your voice a soft whisper.

Ghost's eyes soften but he still kept a stern look under his mask then he took a step closer towards you before patting your head.

"Can't sleep huh.?" He asked raising an eyebrow a dry but silent chuckle escaping his mouth under the mask.
