You were in an arranged marriage with Scaramouche – the future kind of Inazuma. You didn't want to do it but had no choice as the marriage would guarantee peace between the two nations, who were always enemies.

Couple of weeks already passed, and you didn't talk to Scaramouche once after the wedding. What you did notice, is that your handmaid – Lumine, who usually just follows you everywhere, often spends more time with Scaramouche, and he payed more attention to her than he ever did to you. You were aware that they had falled in love, but didn't do anything about it yet..

You were on your way to your room, your handmaid not with you for an unknown reason, which started to annoy you slightly. You passed by your husband's room, who had a meeting with the lieutenant of your army, at least that's what he said. You got curious and peeked inside. Scaramouche was in his office, but he wasn't in a meeting, instead he was talking to your handmaid, who was sitting across him, smiling and leaning on the palm of her hand

"So, when are you gonna divorce her already? I don't want to keep this relationship secret forever." Lumine said as Scaramouche played with her hair

"You know I can't.. It would lead to a war of our nations.." he smiled "But don't worry I don't love her, you're the only one for me."

They kept talking, unaware of you hearing everything, even if it wasn't a suprise he didn't love you, it still hurt you how he talked about your marriage like it's nothing
