Kenzie knew she'd always be 2nd fiddle to her older sister Kate in everything everybody loved Kate she's beautiful, smart. Kenzie was betrothed to Anthony Bridgerton and he like any man fell under her older sisters spell Kate loved to string men along epically if Kenzie had any interest in them at all. Anthony did nothing but she knew that look in Anthony's eyes every man got it when they saw Kate. She tried to not let it get to her since Anthony usually did not encourage her sisters behavior but it still stung to know your own sister feels the need to ruin everything for you. Thankfully Kate and her mother were going away for a little while and she'd be staying with the Bridgertons since she did not want to travel. She'd never admit it but Anthony makes her feel seen for the first time in her life he makes her feel seen and so does the rest of his family and one night she breaks down crying cause usually she never gets this much attention and it's making her panic a little. She had rushed out into the garden barefoot her feet getting all wet since it had just rained the day before she clawed at her chest she was having a panic attack. Anthony rushed out worried about her. He gently wrapped his arms around her kissing the top of her head. Anthony: Hey hey hey goose it's ok you're ok. What's the matter? goose she hated that bloody nickname it's what Kate and Kate's friends called her when she was little cause she was the ugly duckling of the family and Anthony having no idea why Kate called her that started calling her it too thinking it was a sign of endearment
