Dean wasn’t exactly known for having long lasting relationships. But when you and him started dating he couldn’t bear the thought of losing you.

It started out as small things he would do, like always buying your favorite candy on long road trips or carrying your bag for you. At first you thought it was just his way of showing he loved you. As time went on his gestures got bigger, doing almost anything you asked, becoming more overprotective on hunts. Clearly you could handle yourself and liked being independent, but now you barely got to do anything for yourself anymore without Dean offering to do it instead. It was like he was trying to earn your affection now that you were dating.

One night it was just you and him in the motel room after a rough hunt. You had gotten a few scrapes and bruises, nothing too bad. Dean had taken most of the hits from jumping in front of you. Standing at the bathroom mirror you were cleaning up a cut on your face.

“Here baby, let me get that for you.” Of course Dean walks in and starts to grab the rag from your hand. That was it, you had finally had enough.
