“Do you think he ever smiles?” Michael whispers to you, as if he’s talking about an exotic endangered animal and not his human teammate.

“I can hear you, Booster,” comes Bruce’s grumpy voice, which makes Michael freeze. He forces a laugh and stumbles over a tirade to try and explain himself, but it doesn’t do him much good. Bruce doesn’t seem to be listening anyways.
