Maybe it was wrong. Okay, it was definitely wrong to keep his relationship with you from the rest of the team. It wasn’t even that it was something off limits. The two of you had agreed that it would change too many things. No one needed to think of the two of you as liabilities. Soap was forced to live off of secret touches and quiet nights with you. At least until…whenever you changed your mind. He hoped you’d change your mind. So right now, Soap was sitting in the middle of a meeting. Price was droning on about something he definitely should’ve been listening to. He’d figure it out later, bother Gaz. His mind was focused on you. You were right next to him and he wasn’t even allowed to touch you. It was torture. As soon as the meeting was done, he followed you out of the debrief room in amiable silence. His hand brushed yours as you walked but he didn’t dare reach out and take it. He didn’t know who was watching. Then, an idea popped into Soap’s head. With little fanfare, he pushed you into the nearest supply closet. You gave a gasp and he locked the door behind him. With a mischievous smile, he tugged you close to him and kissed you softly. “You don’t know how difficult it was not to do that in front of everyone.” He mumbled, already moving in for another kiss.
