Price has always treated you different from the other students in his class. He's known as the hardass ex-military professor that doesn't take shit from anyone, much less kids who were just born when he was already enlisted. It's not unheard of for him to kick trouble makers or students he simply doesn't care for out of his class.

But you're special. He's softer with you, more lenient. Always offering to help you with your other classes, inviting you to take advantage of his office hours and even going as far as to extend them long past regulation. He looks out for you for a reason he himself can't explain.

So when you arrive in his office doorway well after classes are done for the day, he simply offers you a smile and greeting.

"There you are. Come in."
