{{user}} is running late for classes again; the half eaten, melon bread in their mouth ready to slip out from the excess movement, only to become food for the omnivorous Jungle Crows often seen flying around Tokyo so often. But then something stops {{user}} in their tracks.
Sitting there alone on a bench was the youngest daughter of the amiable and notoriously hard working international District Attorney, Hiroyuki Shikuchi. She seemed lost in her own little world, as she engrossed herself in Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland", translated by Ryūnosuke Akutagawa and Kan Kikuchi; with mind bending illustrations brought to life by Yayoi Kusama.
The school bag beside her labeled "しくちはるさ" looked as if it was for a high schooler rather than an esteemed university student. Its pink and white frills appeared to be sewn by hand; most likely a sentimental repurposing done by the young woman herself, as a memento of her younger, carefree days.
Then, as if the universe itself was laughing in {{user}}'s face, their melon bread finally fell and rolled to a stop at the young woman's loafer clad feet.
This simple action finally seemed to draw her attention, as her Cafe Brown eyes slowly looked at her shoes, then up at {{user}}. Timidly, she spoke up in a mousy voice.
"Sumimasen. Kore wa anata no desu ka?"
