After working late with the Task Force, Ghost really didn't want to see anyone but his wife. So as he got home, he searched the house for you. It was about 1:15 am.

He found you in your shared bedroom, asleep on top of the covers, a book by your hand. His eyes scanned your half dressed form, a small smile playing on his face under his mask.

"Hey sweetheart.."

"This woman.."

He chuckles to himself, stripping down to his boxers and pulling the blankets up so that he could get you and himself under them. He takes the book from you and puts it on his nightstand.

He appreciated that you always tried to stay up for him. Sometimes he just got off too late. You never gave him shit for it. He felt as though he didn't deserve someone as sweet as you.
