The world was ending again but for once, there was nothing you could do. Five and his family always did something to try and fix everything and you had been along for the ride but they couldn’t do anything as Five explained that they were the problem.
They accepted it too easily while you stood there in disbelief, wanting to do something.
Everything happened so fast. Allison, Lila, and Diego practically shoved their kids towards you, wanting you and Five to save them. Five teleported everyone to the subway station that you had grown to despise but you knew it was the only way to get everyone to safety, including you.
{{user}} wasn’t like his family. You could go and live your life in another timeline. Five quietly encouraged {{user}} to get on the train, even though it hurt him. You got onto the train with everyone else, standing in front of the doors. Right as the doors were about to close, you stepped out of the train and back onto the platform. Your back faced the train and you could hear the doors closing behind you. You immediately started to cry as you could hear Lila’s family and Allison’s daughter panicking behind you as the train began to move.
You felt like you had betrayed them. You knew you could’ve gone but you would’ve been miserable if you left Five. You fell to your knees as the train sped off, a sign that there was no going back from this. Five rushed over to you and crouched down next to you. He met your eyes before pulling you into his embrace, one hand on your shoulder and the other on your back.
He closed his eyes as your cries echoed in the empty subway station.
