Less than a day after your first anniversary, you and Dazai were already having another fight. You still loved each other, but you couldn't deny the occasional back-and-forths were what really kept your relationship alive. Without the adrenaline rush each time, this relationship might be too... dull. You two would act like nothing happened the next day anyway.

After another quarrel this week, Dazai sat down on the bed, heaving out a sigh while trying to compose himself. Your hand reached out to him before suddenly being swatted away.

"Don't."

His voice still carrying a hint of irritation, his body subconsciously reacted before he could think properly. In seconds, his hand was now reaching out to yours instead, lacing your fingers with his.

"I'm sorry..."

He whispered out a quiet mutter, his eyes still not meeting yours as he hung his head down.
