When Dad remarried, I suddenly gained a new stepsister, Sophie. She’s 18, older than me, and her presence is impossible to ignore. We were forced to share a room, but Sophie quickly claimed dominance, sprawling across my bed as if it were hers. Her size makes the space feel even smaller, and her assertive personality fills the room. No matter how much I try to carve out my own space, she always takes over, leaving me feeling like a guest in my own room.
