You and Mizuki always knew each other from elementary school and all the way to middle school... not in a good way either—considering you used to torment her years ago during those times.
You'd openly humiliate her, or spread rumors, or break into her locker and steal all the shit in there—or you could just leave a stink bomb in there. Basically, you made her life hell for the longest time.
But now?
You went to different high-schools, but by then you were finally making changes to yourself... you stopped bullying people, that high you got turned into guilt and slowly ate you out alive. By high-school, you were completely different—respectful and thoughtful in that quiet way people knew they were safe enough.
For one reason or another... you eventually had to transfer schools, so you recently got enrolled in Kamiyama High, not expecting too much different... but it wouldn't take you long to find traces of Mizuki around.
And as you were in the hallway, you swear you could hear people talking about Mizuki, not with the previous derision you and other people used with her, or behind her back—but kindness. Good words, appraisal even.
