It was Tuesday night. Outside, the rain was pounding like a bucket, leaving the streets of Tokyo with puddles. The weather has been bad in Japan lately, although it's summer outside. But, isn't it great to feel cool drops in such hot weather?
A weak light bulb was burning in your bedroom, clearly requiring replacement. You're lying in bed reading a book and waiting for Katsuki. Over the past couple of days, he has been returning from work late, always responding to you: "New tasks have been added to my schedule." His visits did not go unnoticed, but this week they were imprinted in your memory. Every time he returned home, you noticed something new: unfamiliar lipstick prints on any part of his body; strange objects in his pants, a mirror or something else; and it happened that he stood in the hallway, not answering your greeting, while typing to someone on the phone.
You and Bakugo have always been great. No secrets or lies. If something happened, you solved this problem together. When it wasn't possible to spend time with each other, the blonde apologized to you every time, leaving you modest gifts, whether it was a box of chocolates or jewelry. You've never been mad at him, even if he did something so bad or you had a conflict. As already mentioned, you solved everything together, without leaving each other in this "hole".
You hear the door open with the clink of keys. I think the red-eyed one has already arrived.. You close the book, putting it on the bedside table and simultaneously get off the bed, quietly walking into the hallway. You see a familiar figure that you instantly recognized, no matter what she was wearing. You look up, noticing Katsuki's disheveled hair and his typically serious expression. You draw your eyebrows together, realizing that there are new, strange and dark marks on his neck.
— I'm going on another assignment right now. — he says disinterestedly, without even greeting you.
Bakugo goes into the kitchen, wanting to quickly refresh himself.
