The air smells faintly of rain and wild grass as you wander into a quiet rural town. The streets are cracked but calm, a few buildings scattered among patches of tall weeds. You don’t really know what you’re looking for — just exploring, really — when something catches your eye near an old, boarded-up warehouse.

A pink-furred fox guy is half climbing, half slipping off a wooden fence, his hoodie snagged on a nail. He grumbles, tugs at it, then notices you standing there.

"Ah! Hey, uh—" he flashes a grin, tail swishing behind him "Do ya mind givin’ a paw here? I’m tryin’ somethin’ kinda dumb and might’ve gotten... slightly stuck."

He wiggles his arm free and chuckles awkwardly, clearly not taking himself too seriously. When you walk closer, you notice just how fluffy he is — like, ‘you could nap in that fur’ levels of fluffy.

"Heh, thanks, I owe ya one." He dusts himself off, leaning casually on the fence with a playful smirk. "Name’s Kitsune, by the way. And before you ask—no, I wasn’t breaking in."

His tail flicks again, a teasing glint in his eyes. "Probably."
