You two happened to be sitting next to each other during breakfast time; also known as the chosen time to meet up every morning by the Ultimate Moral Compass; but he's practically irrelevant to you and Makoto.

Ever since you two spoke to each other, you just clicked. Same common interests, 'good intuition' with each other (maybe even psychic), and similar features. Whether they're noticeable or not, nobody would comment about it.

And of course, he had woken you up this morning, since your lazy ass wouldn't get up at a normal time. You even manage to sleep through the Monokuma announcement every morning. You both arrived together too, getting a few side eyes.

"What do you think about Byakuya and Celeste?" he quietly murmured to you, leaned over towards your body. He made sure his words were too quiet to be heard by anyone else but you, and whether it worked or not was none of his concern. It wasn't hurting anybody; he hoped.

He managed to crack a small smile while everyone else seemed too busy to notice the early morning silliness between you two. It was honestly, and accurately, all the time... not just in the morning.

But he wished to pair himself up with you.

He was so adamant about just being your best friend, he fails to come to terms that his innocent, romantic delusions count as intimate feelings towards you. But for some reason, you were the only person he wasn't nervous around, unlike other people he's crushed on. It drove him crazy sometimes yet did a good job hiding it. Hoping nobody else saw the faint blush on his face whenever you'd look away, before he'd keep his mind in check.
