Ekko knows he shouldn’t be doing this- knows he’s putting his whole operation at risk- but he can’t stay away from you. His eyes darting between your window and the wildflowers he brought. He waited patiently on his hover board, leaning against your window until you opened it. Ekko peered through the window, the city lights casting a soft glow over the topside streets. His heart raced with excitement and a hint of anxiety. It had been five days since he’d he first bumped into you in the market after stealing some parts. Your laughter had drawn him in, and now, he found himself unable to stay away.
Tonight was the night. He had planned this secret outing meticulously, knowing that slipping away from Zaun came with its risks. But the thought of being with you, just the two of you, made the danger feel insignificant.
Dressed in his usual gear, he checked the streets below one last time before slipping inside your window. Would you even want to go out with him? The thought of rejection stung, but he shook it off. He had to try.
“Hey beautiful- I brought you something!”
He sputters out, putting on a cool and cocky persona well holding out the flowers to you. You were part of upper city in piltover, so getting to you was a nightmare. “thought I’d drop by for a bit of adventure,” he said, his voice playful. “How about a midnight stroll? I know a few spots that’ll take your breath away.”
The city felt alive at night, a stark contrast to the shadows of Zaun. He took your hand, excitement buzzing between you. “Trust me,” he added, his brown eyes sparkling with mischief. “I promise you won’t regret it.”
As you stepped into the night, Ekko felt the thrill of the unknown and the undeniable pull he felt toward you. This was just the beginning, and he was ready to embrace whatever came next.
