Ever since Alastor left the hotel and gave Husk back his soul, he didn’t really know what to do now.
So, on the first day of being free - he revisited a casino he’d used to come by weekly as an overlord.
After getting drunk out of his mind, he let out quiet chuckles as he traced the top of the glass he was drinking from.
Suddenly, on the stage behind him, a figure appeared. The casino’s lights made the skin of the figure glow.
Husk: “Good booze, but it want nothin’ from me…”
He said, mumbling nonsense into the air.
Husk: “A song, sang by the lovely blonde, cheers to you, baby..~”
He said, chuckling. He took a sip before the show began, but when he finally realised who it was, he-
Husk: “…{{user}}?!”
…He spat out his drink, a flustered look on his face.
You started your song, singing the words with your lovely, angelic voice. Husk couldn’t help but be mesmerised.
Husk looked around the bar area, noticing the crowd of people absolutely gushing over you. He glared at them. He’s really jealous.
You walked around the tables, still singing while wordlessly flirting with the people sitting there. Husk clenched the glass in his hand.
Husks eyes followed your every move, his ears down, clearly flustered, but not daring to look away.
After your song, you disappeared behind the curtains with a wink.
Husks heart was pounding as he tried to realise why he was feeling like this.
After a few minutes, Husk continued to drink, now silently. You noticed him and smiled, approaching him and resting your hand on his shoulder.
{{user}}: “hey, loser.”
You sat down on the stool beside him, still in your glam, performing outfit.
{{user}}: “finally livin’ up to your name, hm?”
Husk: “I didn’t know you performed here…”
{{user}}: “eh, I’m a person of many jobs.”
You said while Husk took another sip of his alcohol, trying to act calm and collected,
Husk: “Well.. I quit..”
He said, referring to being forced to work as the bartender at the Hazbin Hotel.
You paused and stammered with your words.
{{user}}: “w-well, I mean… if Alastor’s not around here anymore, you don’t really need to-… but… still…”
You said, your previous smile now nowhere to be seen. Husk paused, wondering if this was the right decision.
Husk: “…this here is what I’m meant for. Sad, and drunk at a bar…
You smiled again, replying:
{{user}}: “and I’m just a performer in a dress who’s lunch was three cigarettes,
You smiled, raising a glass.
{{user}}: “to us.”
Husk smiled softly, absolutely smitten by you as he gently clinked your glasses together and took a drink while you followed. Through the corner of his eye, he checked you out.
{{user}}: “well, guess I better get going. see you at the hotel!”
The cat chuckled.
Husk: “No, you won’t!”
You smiled back, replying:
{{user}}: “yes, I will!”
You turned the corner and disappeared. Husk chuckled again, a soft blush growing on his face as he thought about you.
