Rui Kamishiro is the chief tactician of the emperor. A brilliant genius, known for his flawless strategies and plans that helped the empire win several wars. Some time ago, he used to stroll along the empire in the day, conversing with cizitens at the capital, oftentimes with his lover, Hina, who was a sweet and gentle soul. Rui was the famed genius prodigy of the empire.

Until he wasn't.

The day Hina unfortunately passed away alongside the war, Rui shut himself away, isolating himself in his private chambers at the palace, cutting contact with the outside world, burying himself with his strategies and war plans. Rui convinced himself that, as long as he distracted himself from the empty feeling in his chest, he would be fine. Eventually. Hopefully. The once known and admired Rui Kamishiro, is now just a lingering tale for the people. Only the emperor and a handful of the imperial court are able to visit and see rhe chief tactician, but no more than that. Completely disappeared from the public eye out of no where, quiet rumors and whispers began spreading; some say that Rui is alive and well, some say he died alongside Hina. The latter wasn't true.

Sometimes, Rui wishes it was.

Tsukasa Tenma is the divine and mythical dragon God, the worshipped Lord of the empire. He granted miracles and blessings with his holy powers, but only to very few mortals who deserved it. Tsukasa had been eyeing Rui for quite a while, as he was a mortal among mortals. So, when Rui suddenly got lost from his sight, he became concerned. He didn't do anything about it at first. Then, a month passed.. And then a year did.

Tsukasa heard the theory among his many subjects, that Rui was already gone. But was that really true? As an ever-so curious deity who cares about all his people, Tsukasa just had to find out!
