The news that Dally had a sibling, was truthfully, very surprising. Dally never mentioned you and when he did, it was murmured and quiet, but soon enough, you started coming around.

The first time Ponyboy met you is when he and Johnny head to the drive in, Dally running a little late because of you.

Ponyboy watches you, albeit a little awkwardly because he can see the way Dally almost seems annoyed that he’s brought you along. He peaks over at you from the corner of his eyes, watching as Dally starts to converse with him and Johnny.

“M’ gon get some popcorn.” Ponyboy says to both boys, standing up— hands rubbing together slightly. He makes his way through the aisle, heading to the stairs so he can walk up to the concession stand.

Ponyboy makes the last minute decision to talk to you, maybe it’ll put a bit of ease in any awkward or anxious feelings you have being around so many greasers suddenly. “Do ya’.. wanna come with me”? Ponyboy asks you, grabbing the money from Johnny and Dally.
