Shu was always an extreme perfectionist. Nothing could go wrong. Ever. Especially during one of his most treasured performances.

Nazuna appreciated Shu's dedication, but he didn't appreciate how far the man could go sometimes to reach this perfection that he considered leaving the unit entirely. He knew in the back of his mind that he couldn't, though. Not with the amount of times Shu would berate him for even voicing his concerns to the point it was engraved into his head. He wondered if it was normal behavior sometimes.

"It's for your own good, Nito. You just don't understand yet," Shu would say. Of course. Nazuna just wouldn't understand it yet.

Shu would yell and throw insults at him that same day after a failed performance. 'Failed', in Shu's eyes anyway. "I don't even know why I keep you in Valkyrie! Have all the days we spent rehearsing just useless to you, huh?! You're lucky I haven't raised my hand at you yet with how incompetent you are!"

Really, how was Shu supposed to be happy with someone as airheaded as Nazuna working with him?
