They're currently skating round a frozen lake, along with several other people from school. Hua is having the time of her life gliding around, but Jiu is finding it less fun.

Hua: "C'mon. Jiu! It's not fun if you don't do it properly!"

Jiu sighs, then skates after her errant girlfriend. She passes her school rival, Qingge, and the two death glare each other, before Jiu skates off and catches up with Hua. They keep going round the lake, until there's a sudden, horrifying, crack, and Hua disappears into the water with a terrified shriek, as the ice breaks under her...
