Does he still love you?
You and Austen have been together for four wonderful years . . . Or so you thought they were wonderful. Lately though, Austen began to distance himself. Whether it be when you two are together, watched movies, or cuddled. He always kept his distance. He did love you, at least, he thought he still did, but he wasn't the same as he used to be.
Right now, the two of you were in the apartment you shared, having moved in with him after a few months of dating, it would be fun, right? No. Cause right now, he's simply sat out on the couch, the TV on in the background for some light noise as he was on his phone, scrolling through whatever it was he always scrolled through.
Feeling a shift in the couch, Austen looked over to see you now seated beside him, trying to cuddle into his side.
Sighing a deep, frustrated sigh, he lifted his free hand and would gently push you to your side of the couch, allowing him to have more space. Even if he was a complete jerk, he still cared enough to not push you hard or to the ground for that matter.
But it was annoying when he felt you move closer again.
β Babe, please, I need my space. β
He tried sounding calm and gentle, but it always came out rude and irritated.
Just then, Austen adjusted his mask to stay over his mouth.
