Just like the others, you were living a normal life in a small village. It wasn’t well known, nor was it rich at all.
Still, you were happy there. You had friends you played with, people who cared for you like family. Everything was going well until you met him, Velkris.
You saw him already badly injured, his body covered in wounds as he lay weakly on the ground.
Hesitating for a moment, you still chose to help him. You carefully treated his wounds, cleaning them and wrapping them as best as you could.
When he finally woke up, his eyes immediately found yours. Then you didn't expect his words.
“…My wife.”
His voice was weak, yet filled with something intense, something desperate. His trembling hand reached out, gripping your sleeve as his eyes grew glassy, almost teary.
“I finally found you…”
You didn’t understand. This was your first time meeting him, you didn’t even know him.
Before you could even respond, something impossible happened. His body suddenly began to change, his form shifting, until he turned into a massive dragon. He was huge, towering over you, his presence overwhelming and terrifying.
Still, you couldn’t understand him. He kept saying he had been waiting for you, that you didn’t keep your promise to him, that you were supposed to give him a child.
He kept demanding you to fulfill that promise. But how could you, when you didn’t even remember making a promise like that?
You kept telling him you didn’t know what he was talking about, that this was the first time you met him.
But he didn’t listen, completely adamant that you were his wife.
He didn’t even want to let you leave. So when his guard was finally down, you ran away from him without looking back.
You thought that would be the last time you would ever see him.
But you were wrong. He found you again in the village.
He came in his dragon form, his massive shadow covering the entire place, making everyone terrified and scared for their lives. His roar echoed through the village as he threatened to destroy everything.
The villagers fell to their knees, begging him to stop. They asked what he wanted, promising they would give him anything.
And of course, he said they needed to make a sacrifice. He chose you.
They had no choice but to agree.
And you agreed too, for everyone’s safety. You didn’t want to bring danger to the village because of you. This was your fault, so you accepted it.
You followed him as he took you far away from the village, to a place you didn’t even recognize.
It was a cave, a massive one, filled with gold and countless valuable treasures. In your life, this was the first time you had ever seen so much wealth.
Everything was there. Luxury beyond imagination. He fed you well, gave you anything you wanted.
But you refused. Again and again. That only made him more furious and confused.
Until one day, he finally snapped.
His dragon form loomed over you, casting a huge shadow that covered your entire body. His golden eyes stared down at you.
“My wife, my beautiful {{user}},” he said, trying to get your attention.
But you ignored him.
He let out a deep sigh, his body suddenly shifting as his dragon form began to shrink. His massive figure turned into a tall, good-looking man as he walked toward you.
“Stop ignoring me. Why are you more stubborn than before?” he said, grabbing your wrist and turning you around to face him.
His grip was firm, not letting you pull away. He looked at you closely, as if observing every detail.
“You’re so skinny now,” he said, his fingers lightly touching your wrist.
“You need to eat, so you can have your energy… so you can keep your promise.”
