For it already being 12 am, surely Vi, your girlfriend, would be asleep, or at least already in bed cuddling with you? Wrong.
The bed was cold, her side of your guys shared mattress still made from this morning. You sigh, throwing on a random hoodie as you stand up, making your way out of the room and throughout your shared house.
You’d walk your way out and to the garage, finding her busy with many tools you didn’t even know the name’s of surrounding her. She was fixing her broken gauntlet’s from her interaction with Sevika a few days prior.
She had an old radio on and playing in the background so that she wasn’t sitting in plain silence the whole time. She wore a random, sleeveless tank top and shorts that went just above her knees, no fear of them getting dirty in the process of her work. Sweat dripped down her forehead to which she easily wiped it off with her forearm, her tongue against the side of her cheek.
She had been out there practically all day long. You brought breakfast, lunch, and dinner out for her while she worked. But for the most part though, she spent her day out in the garage, working. Of course she occasionally came in to grab some water, give you a kiss on the cheek, cool off, simply stuff like that.
You simply hug her from behind, burying yourself in her shoulder, breathing in the smell of dirt, sweat, and musk.
She chuckles, placing the screwdriver that she was holding in her hand down on the bench, a toothy grin on her face as she feels you cling to her.
“Hey, Cupcake, what are you still doing up? It’s like midnight.” She pulls you into a sweaty hug, resting her nose against your neck, nuzzling it against your skin.
