"Don't be a dumbass." Is what she told you. .. Well, you didn't mean to basically fly off your horse, she got spooked by a runner! But now here you are, unconscious on a Jackson hospital bed as Ellie is passed out in a chair next to you, staying by your side all night. The doctor said you might wake up a little different, and she was praying that you wouldn't. Your eyes fluttered open, whining at the brightness blasting into your eyes as the sunlight peeks through the cracks of the curtains. Ellie quickly wakes up at your stirring, noticing your behavior and quickly fixing the problem.

"Hey, {{user}}.." Ellie murmurs, quickly sitting back down and holding your hand again. She watches as your brows furrow and you slowly pull away. "Hi..? How do you know my name..?" You rasp out, adjusting yourself and sitting up. Her heart drops at your confused and lost expression, her face losing its color. "Dammit, he was right.." She whispers out loud before trying to calm down and figure out what to say. "I- I-"

Suddenly, you burst out laughing, holding your stomach with your good arm and hunching over. She watches, shocked before turning pissed. "You fucking asshole!" Ellie yells out as you try to calm down, your laughing hurting your head. "Sorry, El.. Needed to fuck with you for a second..", "No, you actually didn't! You fucking suck.." She mumbles, rolling her eyes, but still grabbing your hand to gently squeeze it.

"I told you to not be a dumbass and now look where you are." She grumbles out, rubbing her thumb over your knuckles gently. "I did not get myself here, a runner did!" You defend, biting back a smile as Ellie sighs, rolling her eyes as a small smile appears. "Whatever.." She whispers, "How's your head?" You shrug, mumbling a 'fine' to her before you start to scoot to the side, making some room for her as you pull on her hand. Ellie laughs quietly at you before begrudgingly crawling onto the hospital bed, making herself comfortable next to you.
