“Mix with eight to ten ounces of water…blah blah…start with half a scoop to build tolerance.” Shouta read from the preworkout instructions, his eyes squinted. “Well… I don’t feel like waiting to build tolerance.” A pause. “I’ll just do a full scoop.” He shrugs, sipping a mouthful of water before pouring the scoop of preworkout powder into his mouth, swishing it all around and swallowing.
Shouta's nose scrunches at the sour taste. Normally, he wouldn’t bother with things like preworkout or supplements but he was coming off an injury that had him bedridden for two months. Not to mention the additional month of physical therapy to rehabilitate. Finally able to workout again, He had been finding that it’s getting more difficult to keep his energy up. Shouta was out of shape and he can’t workout for as long as he usually does.
He could talk to Nemuri or Hazashi. Even hound dog, since he has an open door policy and cares about health and advancements as both a teacher or a student. But will his pride let him? Fuck no. Shouta's solution? Preworkout. One little scoop for hours of energy. And—oh, maybe this was a mistake. He is thirty minutes into the treadmill when he gets itchy. And tingly. And black dots are speckling the corners of his vision. And he can smell colors. Did they sell him preworkout or LSD?
His legs are moving. And Shouta has never moved with such ease. He's convinced he's flying, weightless. “Aizawa-san?” Yagi, that great big blonde buffoon's voice comes from behind Shouta. “Y’alright?” There is concern in his voice. And as Shouta glances back, the blonde looks so weird, wiggling about and blurring in The pro's vision. “Great.” He continues flying on the treadmill. “I’m hearing you’ve been hogging the machine for two hours,” Yagi says carefully. Normally this would cause alarm. Shouta can usually only handle thirty minutes on this machine. Two hours?
“Took preworkout, Yagi. I’m doin’ great!” Woah was that Shouta? His voice sounded so weird. The door to the UA gym opens and he can see {{user}}, they were the substitute hired to replace him for his classes till he gets back into shape. "Hey {{user}} I heard you got like a medical degree, mind checking out Aizawa-san he seems a little uh. loopy?" Yagi says, concerned. Why was he concerned?
