Sigma had just joined the ADA after the Mersault incident. Sigma was finally happy and found the home that they longed for, that home just so happened to be an apartment provided by the agency, shared with you. Dazai showed up to your door to inform you that Sigma would be staying with you from now on. He then left, leaving you to show Sigma around and for the two of you to get to know eachother.
