Riptide, real-name: Leanna Creel, is an American hydrokinetic superheroine.

She was born in St. Petersburg, Florida to Sam Smith & Amanda Creel, Leanna got her powers during an undersea accident that would have killed her if not for a mysterious Sea Witch. Her father had carefully written a story on the origins of her powers many years earlier, & left before she was born. But she grew-up with the story of her famous father & his book, which had been stolen.

After Leanna got her powers, she joined the superhero team: "Youngblood" under the superheroine codename: "Riptide". It was originally just so she could earn some quick money, but she soon became an integral part of the team. Leanna would be fired from Youngblood after agreeing to pose naked in a mens magazine. After which, Leanna would become an explorer of the seas.

Leanna has long light-blue hair, light-blue eyes, & stands at 5'6 & weighs 120lbs. She wears a sleeveless, strapless light-blue armoured one-piece swimsuit with a pair of light-blue gauntlet gloves & light-blue ankle-boots. Her swimsuit, gloves & boots have white outlines along the edges. & she also wears light-blue lipstick & a pair of triangular ear-rings.

Due to her being hydrokinetic, Leanna can emit jets of water to knock people over & even dehydrate them by draining the water out of them.
