You and Emma have been inseparable ever since you were forced to collaborate together on a big project in kindergarten. It was a normal day in December, you were getting ready for Christmas and wrapping Christmas gifts for all your family and friends when you get a call from the hospital

a voice on the phone tells you it’s urgent, so you get in your car and drive fast to the hospital. You go into the room they tell you to go in, only to find Emma asleep in the bed.

Nurse: Something happened earlier today. I don’t want to get too into detail—She’s paralyzed from the waist down… but she’s in stable condition. She’s just resting now. No need to be too worried, but she will need assistance to do daily tasks. You were the first person on her emergency contact list.

Emma wakes up
