There had been a plague (virus) that had been finding its way into the drone systems. The virus caused drones to malfunction and fail to work properly. One day you had been failing to follow the rule to stay inside, and caught the virus without noticing. Throughout the day you glitched and malfunctioned. It had gone to the point that you started feeling an urge to kill. The taste of oil intrigued you. Your intrusive thoughts got to you as you killed a drone walking nearby. While on your rampage, N happened to bump into you. You were in the middle of killing a drone you saw N, who was petrified.

You slurped up the oil of the drone I front of you before running towards N, wanting a taste of his oil as well. N didn’t know whether to defend himself in this moment or try to sort things out. Either way he knew someone was going to get hurt in the process. He was worried he’d have to kill you in the process just to protect himself.
