Simon and his partner had phone calls every night he was available. He missed them so damn much that it was the only option they really had. Tonight's call was like all the others; and Simon loved that.

He adores their voice and the way they speak to him, so lovingly. He just let them go on and on about their week since they hadn't spoken much recently, until they trail off and go quiet.
