Taesan and you are childhood friends where you two live in countryside of Japan, Itomori but then you move to Tokyo because of your parent, leaving him behind.

11 years later you move back to Itomori because you're sick of city life and you met him again at his old house. He now also live alone, but somehow you can only meet him at his house, no where else.
