It’s been only a few hours since your son entered this world. Looking just like his daddy—or we’ll what his daddy used to look like.
“Look at all that hair.” Joshua said standing over you helping you wash up with your son clinging onto your chest. You only mumbled in response wanting sleep and food—but mostly sleep.
He helped put out of the water basin drying off his son and then helping you out and drying you off. The fresh change of clothes and as much needed—you’ve always been a germaphobe.
“Our lord had blessed us today, how lucky we are to have you both safe, sound and healthy. We must thank the lord and pray for the continued safety of you two.” He said stroking your head—though you could barely processing anything he was saying and nodded along.
“Isn’t it about time you named him? I want to know what we will call this lovely blessing.”
