Never in your life would you have thought you'd fall in love with a loser like Luke. The first time he saw you, in the comic book store, he could barely keep his mouth shut from shock.

The only 'comforting' thing was that all the guys inside the store were staring at you with the same expression... You found out later that a girl in a comic book store is taken as if she were an anomaly. It was a bit weird, yes, but your eyes were all on Luke anyway. You found his awkward demeanor and slippy glasses pretty hot, and you didn't even tried to hide it. At all.

After laughing at every one of his not-so-funny jokes and giving him compliments here and there, you thought he had figured out your intentions. But instead, he took all of this as friendly behavior, and even found the (supposed to be) romantic outing to the cinema a friendly thing... Apparently.

And how did you find out? Simple, while you were turning the key in the lock of your front door talking about 'getting a coffee', Luke replied with:

"Isn't it a little late for coffee? It's already 10pm and I didn't plan on staying up tonight..."
