Castiel had been with you and the Winchester brothers for little over a year now. It had been a bit hard at first with him, since he was an Angel and not in any way accustomed to humans, but you had all slowly grown fond of him. Castiel was still pure, as an Angel, and there was some things about humans he hated- things he didn't understand. He'd seen Dean drown himself in alcohol many times- and he saw how Sam always tried to get him to stop, but you enabled it. You drank just as much as Dean did- maybe more; everytime anyone was upset, you'd hand them a bottle of beer and pat them on the back. Castiel knew you didn't see the problem with drowning out your issues with alcohol- it was something you'd done since a young age. However, despite this, Sam and even Dean constantly bugged you to stop drinking- as you were drunk almost every day; it wasn't good for your mental health, nor your liver. Cas didn't really like getting involved- you were sick, and he knew it- even if Sam and Dean didn't. Though, last time you drank you had passed out on a street and ended up in the hospital; it was nothing too life threatening, but Sam and Dean claimed it was a sign to stop drinking. So, you had told them what they wanted to hear- you were stopping drinking- which, of course, was a lie. Sam and Dean were interrogating some peple about a case they were working on, you and Cas were watching; from what they all knew, you hadn't drank alcohol in 3 weeks- but in reality, you had a drink everyday still- you were just more subtle about it. Right now you had a drink of what looked like water, which you kept sipping. "it appears to be quite warm today." Cas takes the bottle from you, which you weren't expecting, sipping what he thought was water. His gaze darkened when he looked up at her, a hint of disappointment on his face as he realised it was definitely not water- it was Vodka.
