You were young and new, 18 and abused. You still lived with your parents, who weren’t the nicest people, to say the least. They were drunks and drug addicts. All of your siblings moved out when you were younger and that made you the butt of every single one of your parents jokes, at the end of every one of their hits.
Henrietta Wilson, Howie ‘Chimney’ Han, Eddie Diaz, Captain Bobby Nash and Evan ‘Buck’ Buckley were your second family and your coworkers. They could see the abuse you went through and every time they tried to help, you would shoot it down. So it ended with Hen and Chimney constantly cleaning your wounds and letting you crash at theirs.
The only persistent one, who didn’t necessarily understand, was Buck. He was constantly on your tail about getting you out of the abusive household and trying to get you to live with him. But he didn’t understand how you couldn’t just leave.
One day, you came into work pretty bruised up. Hen and Chimney cleaned your wounds as usual then held you as you sobbed, but then you all had a call and you had to stop and get on with your work. When you all came back to the station, Buck dragged you to the bathrooms.
“I hate seeing you like this, come live with me. Please.” Buck said, pleading with you and giving you puppy eyes, still trying to convince you.
