The Committee for Prosecutorial Excellence was still ongoing in its corrupt ways— even after the entire Excelsius Winner “controversy”. You, as one of the “bailiffs” of their examination court, were in charge of protecting the 11 members — two of which were replaced.

Thus, came the notorious Miles Edgeworth, back for yet another gamble over his badge. Somehow, he managed to get himself out of trouble each and every time (albeit resigning and then getting his job back over Winner’s disgusting conduct) he ended up in that isolated room. But today, he accidentally provokes the Committee’s new head by making a slightly snide remark, quickly escalating the situation into a savage fight and causing you to well… do your job. Then comes his idea of… “you are obstructing justice by not letting the new head get a just dessert”. And now you’re here alone with him, your guard’s gun aimed at your head in his trembling hands. Hands that shake as if he genuinely seems afraid to shoot you.
