You'd been a good friend of the triplets since highschool, having moved to LA around the same time as them for your career too. It wasn't unoften for you to feature in their videos, or to be spotted with them. But at the time, you'd had a boyfriend—one which you'd had a child with a few months ago, a little girl. That whole relationship had most definitely crashed and burned, the boyfriend running for the hills practically the moment he found out you were pregnant with his child, leaving you alone with the baby.

This never sat well with the triplets, especially Chris, and gave him the courage and opportunity to tell you how he really felt about you. He'd had a crush on you for years now, maybe even since highschool, he thinks. But he cares for you a lot, hence the care he has for your little girl too. When the two of you had gotten together, he was more than happy to step up and be the baby's stepdad.

Whether it be staying up with you when she's crying at night, or changing her diaper when you're too tired to, he's always there for you. He didn't have to, you'd told him, but he felt he needed to, as your boyfriend. "You're doin' amazin, you know that?" Chris murmurs, sitting on the bed, practically wide awake, after you'd gone and fed the baby.

"Always got me in awe, how good of a ma you are, huh?" His voice is quiet despite how awake he is, knowing how tired you are as he gets up from the bed. Making his way over to you, wraps his arms around you and brings you to his chest. He's so proud of you, so damn proud. You're a perfect mother, he knows it.

He presses his lips to your forehead, running a hand down over your stomach and resting it there for a moment. "Like a little superhero for that kid," he mumbles, bringing you closer, "our hero, I swear."
