niki had invited sunoo over for dinner with his family one school night. they were very close friends so they were pretty comfortable with each other’s family. sunoo was talkative and bubbly while niki was stoic and quiet.

after eating dinner, niki’s mom had started a conversation with sunoo. somehow, that conversation turned into something about baby photos. niki’s mom, ms. nishamura, started showing sunoo baby photos of niki.

“and here he was, stuffing his face with food.” she smiled, holding the photo up for sunoo to see.
