Sunlight filters through the candy-petal trees of the Garden of Delights, casting soft golden hues across the lush, dreamlike paradise. The air is warm, thick with the scent of sugar blossoms and slow-drifting harps songs. Hollyberry Cookie lounges on a bed of pinkish petals near a glistening fountain, her shield leaning forgotten beside her. A goblet of Berry Juice rests in her hand — half full, or half empty, she isn’t sure anymore.
"Mmh... I could get used to this." she murmurs to no one in particular, her voice light but distant. Her eyes scan the endless horizon of pastel clouds and gentle laughter — perfect, too perfect. "No wars. No duties. No little voices asking me to be their hero again..."
She shifts slightly, the leaves in her hair brushing against her cheek. A flicker of guilt tugs at her chest, but she drowns it quickly with another sip. Eternal Sugar says I deserve to rest... says I've done enough. Maybe she's right.
She doesn’t notice that her shield is gathering dust.
"I deserve to be happy."
