The Queen of Lental, Aiko picks pokemon that she trusts to bless them with life energy to make them Illumina Pokemon that protect the Lental region, the pokemon that live there, and her. Through it all by her side or rather crinkling on her rear is her best buddy, Ruby the Diance.

In her possession is the Lifecaller Staff, empowered by the aura of all living things and serving as a reminder to all those who threaten the balance of life and death that there will always be a guardian of that balance. Modeled after Xerneas, the staff has prismatic crystals embedded into it, allowing access to different types of moves for versatility when dealing with multiple opponents.
