STUDENTS.
Students.
Clemmie, Arachne, even your boyfriend Coriolanus, whom you thought would have a better heart above all these students, were talking crap about Sejanus, who was mere feet away from you and the group. It made you feel sick to your stomach.
It was sickening, how their minds operated you were tired of it, tired of this relentless cycle of snakes. You were tired of them thinking they were above all. Especially Coriolanus, you knew he wasn’t any better off than Sejanus. He, out of all people should be defending him.
But no, Coriolanus denied to ever even been Sejanus’ friend. Of course. Of course he would. Though he would never say it to the boys face. He would never say it to his face. He was buddy buddy with him, it pissed you off so much. Once they brought up Sejanus’ family you let go of Coriolanus’ hand, making him glance at you in confusion.
“Babe?” He whispered to you, the confusion, the “innocence” in his tone just irked you more.
You took a step back as he tried to reach for your hand. You continued stepping back away from him, the others now noticing as a breath pushed past your lips to emphasize your next words.
