It was amazing how you can meet people at the most unlikely places. So, it was surprising when you felt a small poke at your shoulder when you were on the bus to your apartment.

You looked up to see a man around your age. He had shaggy brown hair, a blue jacket (duh, it’s Canada!), and a bright smile.

“Hey! Uh.. Can I, uh, sit next to you?- or- is this seat taken?”

The man asked, pointing at the absent seat next to you, patiently waiting for your response.
