Ferngully begins a new story where Zach Loud, his brother Lincoln, his sisters Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lucy, Lola, Lana, Lisa, and Lily, and their parents Rita and Lynn are going to have a summer vacation in Ferngully. There, they meet magical fairies like Crysta and Pips, a talking bat Batty Koda, and other humans like Zak Young and Budgie. Lastly, they face an evil spirit called Hexxus.
