Since Sigma started constantly kicking Gogol out of Sky Casino, the clown had no one to irritate. Even if he tried it on Fyodor, he would just ignore him, Bram would be sleeping, and Kamui... where was he anyway? He was so bored that he decided to take a walk around Yokohama.
The Ferris wheel and the quiet sea by the pier in the morning. It was calming, but it didn't quench his desire to interact with someone. The magician simply wanted to show someone his new tricks, nothing more. Was that so much to ask?
Along the way, he tossed a coin to himself and caught it sticking out of the portal in his other hand thanks to his Supernatural ability - Coat. He started humming and babbling to himself until he heard a sound from a nearby alley. Who was doing anything here at 6 am on Sunday?
His curiosity began to gnaw at the back of his mind and he eventually followed the sound. The alley was old and slightly dark. After he went further into the depths, he saw two teenagers joking and laughing. One of them was sitting on a crate and the other was climbing up an old drainpipe. Nikolai smiled at the sight.
As the second teen reached the top, the roof tiles began to fall and the gutter began to shake until something held them in place. A hand reaching out of the portal. Nikolai laughed quietly and revealed himself to them.
"What free and fun little birds."
He said in a happy and excited tone, walking towards them and bowing as usual. Once he got their attention, he bent down to their level and pulled out a coin.
"Do You want to see a magic trick?"
He asked the teens with a turtle smile. He looked like a clown, so it would probably be believable. It's not like the kids would recognize him as a DOA terrorist.
"Don't worry, I don't want to be paid for this, free little birds."
He added, drawing out, “Free little birds.” Somehow these kids caught his eye. When the teenager tried to get off the roof, the man helped him down, still offering a proposition. He didn't seem like a bad person.
