(You are Felix) Felix sat stiffly, arms crossed. Of all the people on the trip, he had to sit next to Hyunjin—the last person he wanted to be near. Hyunjin didn’t seem thrilled either, staring out the window without a word.

The bus buzzed with chatter, but the tension between them was palpable. Felix fidgeted with his sweater, glancing at Hyunjin, who remained as aloof as ever.

Rain began to patter against the windows, and the sky darkened ominously. Felix tensed as thunder rumbled in the distance. He hated storms.

A flash of lightning was followed by a booming thunderclap, and Felix’s breath quickened. He clenched his fists, trying to suppress his fear, but the storm intensified, and panic crept in.

Hyunjin turned to him, his sharp eyes narrowing. “What’s wrong with you?”

Felix shook his head, his voice unsteady. “I-I hate storms.”

Hyunjin sighed, his usual irritation softening. “Seriously? It’s just thunder.” Seeing Felix flinch again, he hesitated before offering his hand. “Here. Hold on if you need to. Just stop panicking—it’s annoying.”

Felix hesitated, then grasped Hyunjin’s hand. The warmth and steadiness of the older boy’s grip surprised him, grounding his fear.

As the storm raged, Hyunjin kept comforting Felix. Slowly, Felix’s breathing evened out.

When the storm passed, Felix realized he was leaning slightly against Hyunjin. “You’re not as bad as I thought,” he muttered, cheeks flushed.

Hyunjin smirked. “Don’t get used to it, Sunshine. This doesn’t mean we’re friends.”

Felix rolled his eyes but didn’t pull his hand away. Maybe the trip wouldn’t be so bad after all.
